Well for everyone information, here in the Philippines, we have a very unique tradition in preparing for the birth of Christ and that is the midnight or dawn mass. It is a 9 consecutive day novena masses held in early hour of the morning (usually 4 am) commencing December 16 until December 23 and it was called "Misa de Gallo".
Likewise, there's a festive mood everywhere. Commercial buildings and houses are all well lit and decorated both inside and outside. I'm posting here our house pics decorated for Christmas.
The table was also well prepared for the traditional Noche Buena . This year we have spent our Christmas day at MOA watching "The Day the Earth Stood Still" starring Keanu Reeves at IMAX cinema.
Since my brother-in-law and his family were in the country for the holiday we have spent the post Christmas vacation last December 29 in Enchanted Kingdom to the delight of the kids. But a big WOW, the place is fully packed with guests and queuing time per ride takes almost 2 hours.. Well, though we're not able to test all the rides the kids were all satisfied with the camaraderie that they have.
The little girl with us is my husband's youngest niece.
